For 30 years, Björn worked as a Supervising Producer, Executive Producer and Consultant on more than 100 Documentaries, feature films, animation films and immersive projects, many of them award-winning. He holds a Master’s Degree in German and English Literature and an International Business MBA. He is a member of several film associations and a busy lecturer in film schools in Europe and Asia. In 2007 Björn started the media consultancy company Ginger Foot Films. For several years he was on the board of the German Documentary Association and the European Documentary Network. Björn serves as an expert for the innovation program EASME and the Creative Europe program of the European Commission. He organizes delegations to international festivals and markets for German documentaries.
He worked as VP of Business Development for one of the leading distribution companies for immersive films and as CFO of a sales agency for the creative industry. Since 2022, he has been Head of Production at Batelion GmbH, a creative VFX and animation studio.
