Applications open today, 18 September 2025, for the fourth edition of La Bottega della Sceneggiatura, the advanced training program created by Premio Solinas in collaboration with Netflix. The initiative is aimed at young writers aged 18 to 30 of any nationality, identity, or background, residing or living in Italy, who are interested in developing stories for TV series.
The program unfolds in multiple stages, allowing participants to develop their projects under the guidance of distinguished mentors and jurors, including Francesco Cenni, Laura Colella, Alessandro Fabbri, Filippo Gravino, Flaminia Gressi, Antonio Le Fosse, Laura Luchetti, Michele Pellegrini, Monica Rametta, Ludovica Rampoldi, Marco Raspanti, Re Salvador, Stefano Sardo, Davide Serino, Michela Straniero, and Eleonora Trucchi.
The jury will select up to 20 projects for the Orientation Lab, the first phase focused on feedback and project development. Subsequently, up to 10 projects will receive a scholarship of 2500 euros to participate in the Advanced Training Lab, which includes coaching sessions, masterclasses, and in-depth workshops on serial storytelling and Writers Room practices.
At the end of the program, two projects will be awarded: 7000 euros for first place and 4000 euros for second. Netflix may also, at its discretion, offer winners the opportunity to collaborate as assistants in a Writers Room on serial projects.
Applications are open until 20 October 2025. The goal of La Bottega della Sceneggiatura is to enrich the Italian TV series landscape with fresh stories while nurturing young talent.
