The third edition of Press Start to Learn, the programme bringing videogame education into Italian schools, is now underway. This year introduces a major new feature: Press Start to Learn for Kids, a dedicated track designed for preschool and primary schools, combining analog and digital tools to foster creativity and visual literacy.
The project also confirms its two main strands of activities for high school students and teachers, continuing the work developed in previous editions. Family involvement is expanding as well, with dedicated meetings to share results and explore the educational potential of videogames.
A total of eight schools across Emilia-Romagna, Lombardy and Tuscany will take part. The initiative is promoted by IVIPRO in partnership with the Department of Education Sciences at the University of Bologna, as part of the National Plan Cinema and Images for Schools, supported by the Ministry of Culture (MiC) and the Ministry of Education and Merit (MIM).
