Today, October 10, 2025, marked the official closing of the 11th edition of MIA | Mercato Internazionale dell’Audiovisivo, with the MIA Awards 2025 Ceremony, hosted by Gaia Tridente, MIA Director.

A moment of celebration that brought together professionals and talents from across the audiovisual industry to honor the best projects presented during this edition and to pay tribute to the creativity, vision, and international excellence that continue to define the Market year after year.

Here are this year’s winners:

MIA DEVELOPMENT AWARD FOR OUTSTANDING ANIMATION PROJECT: The Golden Butterfly / Zlatnata Peperutka by Goce Cvetanovski, produced by Makedonska Krepost, co-produced by Blurr Stories, Technoscope FIlms, The G7 (Argentina, Brasile, Colombia, Macedonia, Spagna).

MIA DEVELOPMENT AWARD FOR OUTSTANDING DOC PROJECT: Edition 96 (Libano), produced by OOBconcept, directed by Ahmad Naboulsi.

MIA DEVELOPMENT AWARD FOR OUTSTANDING FILM PROJECT: I have to fuck before the world ends, directed by Andrea Benjamin Manenti and produced by Stefano Centini (Volos Film) e Carlo Hinterman (Citrullo International).

MIA DEVELOPMENT AWARD FOR OUTSTANDING DRAMA PROJECT: Aïnta! produced by Andreas Zoupanos Kritikos (Faliro House Productions) and written by Kevin Zans Ansong e Stavros Pamballis.

SPECIAL MENTION – MIA DEVELOPMENT AWARD FOR OUTSTANDING DRAMA PROJECT: Dyouf / Guests – produced by May Jabareen (Philistine Films) and written by Saleh Saadi.

SONY PICTURES TELEVISION AWARD: The Roaring Banshees, produced by Paul Donovan (Deadpan Pictures) and written by John Morton e Peter McGann.

PARAMOUNT NEW STORIES AWARD: POV-Point of view, produced by Tapeless Film and created by Luca Murphy (Italia).

GEDI VISUAL AWARD: Pestiferus Lupus, directed by Ludovico Serra e Luca Jankovic and produced by Box Vision.
