From November 7, Fox will broadcast Israeli drama False Flag created by Maria Feldman, who was a guest of MIA 2017 during IDM Südtirol: RACCONTI # 6 as a mentor for the selected projects together with Harold Valentin (author of the series Call My Agent). The title, False Flag, refers to the controversial tactic employed by the secret services during professional espionage operations designed to make activities appear as though they are being carried out by someone other than the one who actually executed them. The series tells the story of five seemingly innocent individuals accused of abducting an important politician. It is produced by Feldman herself and Liat Bnasoli for Keshet Media and won the Audience Award in 2015 during France’s Series Mania television festival. The distribution rights were acquired by FOX for a total of 127 countries.
