GREENLit, the international series showcase at MIA, brought seven ground-breaking series to this tenth edition of the market, four of them from all over Europe: the Swiss series, WINTER PALACE (Point Productions, Oble and RTS Radio Télévision Suisse, for RTS Radio Télévision Suisse and Netflix); the Norwegian series HENKI (Klynge AS and Scanbox Productions for NRK, created by Jan Trygve Røyneland, written by Harald Rosenløw Eeg, Flemming Klem and directed by Erika Calmeyer) the Norwegian REYKJAVIK FUSION (the first production of the newly founded production company ACT4, for Sìminn and ARTE) and the German ONE HUNDRED AND THIRTEEN (Windlight Pictures and Satel Film, for WDR, Degeto and ORF).
There are instead three Italian titles: the Netflix series LA LEGGE DI LIDIA POËT (Greenland, a Banijay group company); GOMORRA – LA SERIE. LE ORIGINI (working title) (Sky Studios and Cattleya for Sky Italia); SANDOKAN – LA SERIE (Lux Vide in collaboration with Rai Fiction, for Rai-Radiotelevisione Italiana).
The series were presented by their producers, performers and creative teams, together with the platforms and broadcasters that commissioned them, through an engaging talk that explored the dynamics behind their creation and the impact they want to have on the audience.
