Head of Rai Fiction Eleonora Andreatta comes to Netflix covering the position of VP for original Italian series. The role of Rai Fiction Director will be taken by Rai AD Fabrizio Salini ad interim.
Andreatta will take her new role starting from July in the new Netflix headquarter located in Rome; she will be at the helm of the team which deals with original Italian series development and creation.
The current Head of original Italian series Felipe Tewes will take up a new role as a Director in Netflix, announced soon.
Andreatta nomination is in line with the idea of expansion designed in Netflix; for this year the release of five new season of Italian shows has been announced with a doubling by 2022.
