Diamanti, directed by Ferzan Özpetek, will open the Italian Film Festival in Singapore, which will take place from 7 to 22 June 2025, and celebrate the sixth anniversary of diplomatic relations between Italy and Singapore.
The film was applauded by critics and had a total box office gross of around 16 million euros in Italy. It won the prestigious David of the Spectator at the last edition of the David di Donatello awards.
During the festival, a selection of films across various genres will be presented, including documentaries, animated films, and artistic films, with a mix of emerging and veteran directors.
The festival will close with Arsa, a sensory audiovisual experience by the Masbedo duo.
