The Filming Italy Venice Award returns on August 31 at the Lido of Venice, hosted in the Sala degli Stucchi of the Hotel Excelsior.

The award highlights international film and television productions, celebrating the audiovisual industry and supporting its growth. A special focus is placed on female talent, which the award seeks to recognize and promote.

This year’s ambassador will be Academy Award-winning actress Da’Vine Joy Randolph, known for The Holdovers and Only Murders in the Building. The role of patroness will be held by actress Matilde Gioli.

The Filming Italy Venice Award was created by Tiziana Rocca and it is supported by several institutions, including the Ministry of Tourism, APA – Audiovisual Producers Association, ANICA, and in collaboration with Cinecittà.
