The call is now open for Green Skills for Cinema and Audiovisual Production, a high-level training initiative aimed at Sustainability Managers and Environmental Sustainability Experts interested in acquiring the skills needed to work on film sets.

A total of 12 selected participants will have the opportunity to learn how audiovisual production is organized, identifying the role and responsibilities of the Sustainability Manager during the various production phases. Participants will also engage with institutions and producers to better understand the sustainability needs of film sets and to foster collaboration in implementing sustainable practices.

The program includes three online sessions and three in-person sessions, which will take place in Veneto (Italy) in early February 2026, in Central Macedonia (Greece) in spring 2026 during the Thessaloniki International Documentary Festival and in Mallorca (Spain) in July 2026 during the Atlàntida Mallorca Film Fest.

The initiative, organized by Veneto Film Commission in collaboration with Central Macedonia Film Office, Hellenic Film and Audiovisual Center / Hellenic Film Commission – Creative Greece, Mediterranean Creative Hub of Mallorca, and Green Film, will be officially presented on August 31 at the Hotel Excelsior, during the 82nd Venice International Film Festival, at the Veneto Film Commission space.
