While MIA | Mercato Internazionale Audiovisivo is underway in Rome — where a decisive scene from the season finale takes place — things are a bit chaotic at the CMA. Ficarra and Picone are about to celebrate the 30th anniversary of their duo when an unexpected twist puts their partnership to the test: Picone is chosen by the Coen brothers as the lead of their new television series. It means becoming an international star, going to America, and, above all, leaving Ficarra behind. Will Vittorio, their agent, be able to prevent the duo from falling apart?
Produced by Sky Studios and Palomar (a Mediawan Company), the third season of CALL MY AGENT – ITALIA, the remake of the cult series Dix pour cent, is directed by Simone Spada (Hotel Gagarin, Studio Battaglia, Rocco Schiavone) and written by Federico Baccomo (Call My Agent – Italia, Improvvisamente Natale, Studio Battaglia), who also created the series concept and episode treatments, with Camilla Buizza (episodes 2 and 5) and Tommaso Renzoni (episode 4).
Once again accompanied by an array of surprising cameos — in the first episode Simon & The Stars and Cristina Marino, and in the second Matteo Giuggioli and Elia Nuzzolo — the main cast from the first two seasons returns: Michele Di Mauro, Sara Drago and Maurizio Lastrico reprise their roles as Vittorio, Lea and Gabriele, talented, tireless and passionate agents representing some of the most prominent figures of the Italian entertainment world. At their side are their assistants: Monica (Sara Lazzaro), Pierpaolo (Francesco Russo) and Camilla (Paola Buratto). The new episodes also see the return of Kaze as Sofia, Emanuela Fanelli as Luana Pericoli and Corrado Guzzanti. This season also features Nicolas Maupas playing himself and Gianmarco Saurino as the UBA intermediary between Italy and the United States.
In this third season, Luca Argentero, Michelle Hunziker, Aurora Ramazzotti, Stefania Sandrelli, Marco Bocci, Vinicio Marchioni, Francesco Montanari, Edoardo Pesce, Alessandro Roia and Daniela Virgilio — along with Miriam Leone and Ficarra & Picone — stir up trouble for the agents and assistants of the CMA.
