Branded entertainment is steadily growing: investments in the sector reached €675 million in 2023, and are expected to increase further by the end of 2024.

This is what emerged during the Summit OBE 2024 entitled Building the future together, held yesterday 5th September 2024 at the Giuseppe Verdi Conservatory in Milan.

During the event, Erik Rollini, OBE Director and Managing Director EssenceMediacom and Anna Vitiello, OBE Scientific Director, presented the market research carried out by the Osservatorio Branded Entertainment and BVA Doxa with the collaboration of RTI.

The data presented during the event confirm the growth that the sector has experienced in recent years: since 2014 the market value has decreased only once, in the pandemic period between 2019 and 2020, and a further increase in investments of up to €729 mln is expected by the end of 2024.
