The debut of “Despicable Me 4”, the new episode in the saga starring Gru, released on 21 August thanks to Universal, brought home €1,394,692 in box office, upsetting the balance of the podium: Disney’s title ‘Deadpool & Wolverine’ plummeted to fourth place with a weekly take of €5. 123,616; in second place comes the other new entry “Ends With Us”, the sentimental drama, a film adaptation of the novel of the same name by Colleen Hoover, starring Blake Lively, which, released on 21 August, grossed €1,081,001. Also for ‘Alien: Romulus’, new entries at the top of the chart destabilised the box-office result, slipping to third place with earnings of € 919,150.

“Inside Out 2′, which has been on the chart for 10 weeks, and ‘Trap’ both dropped one position to fifth and sixth place with takings of €320,391 and €289,209 respectively, followed by the Zoë Kravitz thriller ‘Blink twice’, in seventh place, which earned €180,994.

In the last places of the top ten, we find “The life apart” by director Marco Tullio Giordana, which grosses € 150,300, followed by  ”Monster” in ninth position with a gain of € 140,082. The Lord of the Rings re-enters the charts in last position with another episode of the saga in a restored version, “The Return of the King”, which closes the top ten and grosses € 104,530.
