Horror and anime continue their Box Office surge, emerging victorious from the past week.
Demon Slayer – Kimetsu No Yaiba: Infinity Castle, distributed by Eagle Pictures, takes the top spot, grossing €1,247,406. It is followed by The Conjuring: Last Rites, distributed by Warner Bros., which secures second place with earnings of €1,119,942. Holding strong in third place is the rom-com Materialists, also distributed by Eagle Pictures, with a gross of €492,691.
Downton Abbey: The Grand Finale, distributed by Universal, comes in fourth with €393,647, followed in fifth by the re-release of the anime masterpiece Grave of the Fireflies, which earns €314,834. The Italian newcomer Duse, distributed by Piper Film, ranks sixth with €267,914, while The Life of Chuck, from Eagle Pictures, takes seventh place with €226,897.
The Italian horror film The Holy Boy, distributed by Vision Distribution, lands in eighth place with €186,148. In ninth is Smurfs, from Eagle Pictures, with €141,978.
Rounding out the top ten is the documentary concert film David Gilmour Live at the Circus Maximus, Rome, distributed by Nexo Digital S.R.L., with earnings of €139,009.
