The week comes to a close with a refreshed chart compared to the previous one. New titles have changed the game and gradually dethroned the two major dominators: The Odyssey and Spider-Man: Brand New Day.
Resident Evil debuts in first place, earning 1.440.852 euros and recording 169.942 admissions. The film, produced by Columbia Pictures and Constantin Film in association with TriStar Pictures, is a reboot and cinematic adaptation of the acclaimed video game franchise developed by Capcom.
In second place is Cars, celebrating its 20th anniversary with a return to theaters. The Pixar film debuts with 834.400 euros and 102.478 admissions.
Coyote vs Acme takes third place, bringing in 748.494 euros and 100.518 admissions. The film, produced by James Gunn and Chris DeFaria for Warner Bros., reaches a total gross of 3.710.195 euros. Just behind, in fourth place, is The Odyssey, which takes in 721.327 euros and records 81.652 admissions, bringing its total gross to 57.841.128 euros.
The Invite – Il piacere è tutto nostro by Olivia Wilde debuts in fifth place, recording 620.431 euros and 84.835 admissions. Paw Patrol: Missione dinosauri reaches sixth place, earning 458.043 euros and recording 64.079 admissions.
In seventh place is Disney’s Oceania (Moana), which continues its run, earning 311.446 euros and recording 41.914 admissions. The live-action film reaches a total gross of 11.299.089 euros. Amori & Incantesimi 2 takes eighth place with 280.283 euros and 38.370 admissions.
Spider-Man: Brand New Day continues its run, placing ninth. The superhero film earns 237.051 euros and records 29.173 admissions, bringing its total gross to 38.463.239 euros.
In tenth place is Serpenti, a film produced by Paco Cinematografica and Be Water and presented in the Spotlight section of the Venice Film Festival, which grosses 215.832 euros and records 33.131 admissions.
