After a summer of special cinema programming on Rai channels — created in collaboration with the Cinema and TV Directorate — Rai Cinema concludes the celebrations for its 25th anniversary with the launch of “TAKE 25”, a podcast dedicated to key figures of Italian cinema. The project pays tribute to the company’s history, its films, and the talents behind them, while also looking to the future, expanding its audience, and engaging younger generations.
Available online from November 27 on RaiPlay, RaiPlay Sound, and Spotify, the podcast — produced by Rai Cinema and No Name Radio, Rai’s fully digital radio channel — marks the company’s first podcast initiative created specifically to celebrate this milestone.
Across eight episodes, recorded at the Metastudio in Via Asiago, actress and content creator Jenny De Nucci and cinema storyteller Antonio James Mascoli sit down with eight directors who have contributed significantly to Rai Cinema’s history: Margherita Vicario, Micaela Ramazzotti, Massimiliano Bruno, Giulia Steigerwalt, Francesco Bruni, Paolo Genovese, Sydney Sibilia, and PIF.
Each episode opens with a recurring question: “What were you doing at 25?”, a prompt that sets the stage for a personal journey through the experiences, challenges, and creative moments that brought each guest into the world of cinema.
