Paolo Del Brocco, manager, journalist, and adjunct professor at several universities, is the CEO of Rai Cinema. He is a member of the Management Committee of the National Museum of Cinema in Turin, a member of the Academy of Motion Picture Arts and Sciences, and of the European Film Academy (EFA). He also serves on the Board of Directors of U.S. Lecce. He has served on the juries of various international film festivals in recent years, and since 2017 has been included in Variety500. Under his leadership, Rai Cinema has contributed to the production of 941 films, about half of which are debut or second feature films, and 592 documentary films, becoming the most important Italian production company and earning numerous awards, including David di Donatello awards for Best Film, Best Director, and Best Producer, as well as prestigious accolades at major international film festivals and two Oscar nominations in recent years. Under Rai Cinema’s direction, 01 Distribution has brought both Italian and international box office successes to theaters, securing a prominent position in the Italian film distribution industry.
