Emmanuelle Bouilhaguet is the CEO of the French studio The Originals. After several years as Sales Manager, in 2005 she was appointed CEO of Marathon International, which later became Zodiak Rights (Totally Spies, Millenium, Sous le Soleil). In 2011, she became CEO of Lagardère Studios Distribution (Sonic Boom, Transporteur – the series, Beau Séjour).
Her experience led her to become president of SEDPA (French Independent Audiovisual Distributors Union) for 4 years until 2021, and member of the executive board of TVFI (French association dedicated to the promotion of French distribution).
She is currently President of Unifrance’s French TV Producers Commission and member of the USPA board. As CEO of The Originals since 2021, she leads the development and expansion of the company following the success of the flagship series Le Bureau des Légendes – The Bureau. In September 2024, the new show by The Originals, La Maison, will debut worldwide on Apple TV+. This series will propose an immersive look behind the scenes of the ever-evolving world of fashion, aspirational French elegance and luxury, and the lives of its powerful families.
