The events at the heart of the event will focus on the rise of women in the TV and film industry, the successes they have achieved and the key roles they are taking on to establish their presence in the Italian TV and film industry, demonstrating managerial and entrepreneurial skills.
Maria Pia Ammirati, Director of Rai Fiction, Anna Maria Morelli, CEO of The Apartment, Nicole Morganti, Head of Local Originals Southern Europe Amazon Studios, Sonia Rovai, CEO Wildside, Maria Grazie Saccà, CEO Titanus Production and Chiara Sbarigia, President of Cinecittà, will discuss the topic, moderated by Valentina Martelli, Founder and CEO Good Girls Planet and Cristina Scognamillo, Founder Good Girls Planet.
“We all know it has been a complicated year for the Film and Television industry,” says Valentina Martelli, CEO of the group founded with Cristina Scognamillo. “Less investment, more consolidation, lots of supply, tight demand, but one thing for sure is that there is great anticipation for 2025. Partnerships are forming right now, both Netflix and Amazon have ordered more original productions outside the US and in the US in the first quarter of 2024, with a focus on the U.K., Spain and Germany. It’s time to push Italy in the right direction and ITTV has been acting as a hub and also a driver of new collaborations for six years now, thanks to its constant presence in the US.”
On 3 and 4 November, the ITTV International Forum and Tech In Entertainment will move to Los Angeles. Among the guests: Joe Franzetta, Head of Sports ROKU Media, Lucia Gervino, Head of Production, Post, & Risk Management A+E Studios, Georgina Gonzalez, VP Global Scripted Series NBCUniversal, Samuel Harowitz, Head of Content Acquisitions & Partnerships, Tubi, Carlos Sanchez, Executive Vice President and General Manager of FOX Deportes, Sandra Stern, Vice Chairman of the Lionsgate Television Group.
