The selection presented projects for all targets and without excluding animated genres and languages. Some of those presented in the context of MIA in the last two years that have seen the light and are enjoying great public success: the animated feature Chicken for Linda! (Linda veut du poulet !) by Chiara Malta and Sébastien Laudenbach, recipient (among the others) of the César Prix for Best Animated Film in 2024; the new Claude Barras’s movie Sauvage ! and the debut animated film of María Trénor, Rock Bottom (Spanish Screenings Showcase), which will see life in 2024 starting off from Cannes and Annecy feature film competition; the stop-motion preschool and family series The Sound Collector by Chris Tichborne, Barry J. C. Purves, narrated by Keira Knightley, is now available on Apple TV. From the 2023 MIA’s  AnyShow, Gateway 66 by Sergio Manfio produced by Gruppo Alcuni, is now available on Rai Kids’ channel, Rai Yoyo and on boxset on Rai Play; and Our Summer of Freedom (Petit Casbah), of which the episode The Slap will take part in competition at Annecy 2024. In early 2025, Anselmo Wannabe, the Italian children’s series produced by Ibrido Studio and presented at the MIA Co-Production forum in 2022, and the French series The Upside Down River produced by Dandeloo and presented at the AnyShow showcase in 2024, will see the light of day lifting up from the Annecy Official Competition.
