The Netflix model influences our public broadcaster too. For the first time in the history of public service television, a Rai TV series is available streaming and broadcasted on the small screen after a few days. Non uccidere is a thriller TV series directed by Giuseppe Gagliardi and created by Claudio Corbucci (starring Miriam Leone and produced by Freemantle and Raifiction). A second season is being presented on Rai2 on June 12 but it will be available streaming on Raiplay from Thursday, 1 June. This long shot was intentional, or at least backed by the director Ilaria Dallatana, who radically changed the network’s programme schedule with many successful tests, such as Il collegio, Meglio tardi che mai and the recent one-woman show Facciamo che io ero with the histrionic impressionist Virginia Raffaele. However, the sentence will be decided by audience.
