The reboot of Winx Club, an animated series created by Iginio Straffi and produced by Rainbow, will premiere at the 2025 Expo in Osaka. The series will be released in October on Netflix.

Rainbow has been one of the most important Italian computer animation companies for years. Created in 2004, Winx Club has enjoyed success by appealing primarily to a female audience, a rarity in the market of the time, with its themes of fairies, witches, and castles. The series has been exported to 150 countries worldwide and, in 2020, gained a live-action adaptation produced by Netflix, Fate: The Winx Saga.

Before the presentation, the short film Sakura, co-produced by Poliarte, was shown to showcase the beauty of the Marche region and its picturesque landscapes to a global audience. In addition, the winners of an artistic contest involving students from various Japanese and Italian comic art universities were honored, along with six Japanese Winx Club cosplayers.
