RAI budget 2019 was approved. The Board of the Italian public broadcasting company, chaired by Marcello Foa and in the presence of the CEO Fabrizio Salini, approved the budget 2019 and established two new company areas. These are Rai Doc and Rai Format, the first with the aim of enhancing the documentary genre, in accordance with the service contract that requires to support and support the development of the national audiovisual industry, and the second is part of a project to stimulate the creation of original and innovative contents, a bit on the winning model of Rai Fiction, through the creation of prototypes.
