Vicky Schroderous

Vicky Schroderus joined YLE, Finnish Broadcasting Company in 1997 and is currently working as Senior Executive in Charge of International Co-Productions and Acquisitions at YLE Children’s Programs. In this role, Vicky selects and negotiates all the acquisitions and pre-buys for 0-12 old kids as well as co-produces international content for 8-12 years old kids. She also oversees the dubbing of the shows. Before, she has worked several years at YLE International Acquisitions. During her career she has not only acquired content for kids, but also non-English fiction, music and extreme sports. Before joining YLE, Vicky earned a Master’s degree in Business Administration at the Turku School of Economics. She started her career at the market research department at Schweizerische Mobiliar in Switzerland.
