Tereza Polachová was appointed Director of Content in 2023. She has extensive experience in the field of television development and production. Before her engagement at ČT, she worked as a creative producer and a Head of Development and Production at HBO Europe from 2010 to 2022, where she participated in several successful projects. Between 2007 and 2010, she worked as a television producer for Mark BBDO. She received her education at two renowned faculties. She studied at the Film and Television Faculty of the Academy of Performing Arts in Prague and graduated from the Faculty of Social Sciences of Charles University in Prague. In her role as a Director of Content of Czech Television, she is responsible for the strategic planning and implementation of the television program, including the selection and development of new programs. Her experience from HBO Europe and previous positions is a valuable asset, where she combines creative leadership with hands-on management. Tereza Polachová plays a key role in shaping the content strategy of Czech Television, and her work has a significant impact on the quality and diversity of television production.
