Ferdinand Dohna, born in 1969, studied Classical Archeology, Ancient History and Greek in Bonn and Heidelberg. In 1999 he received his PhD after a 2-year stay at the German Archaeological Institute in Rome.
During this time, he worked as a Story Editor at the Italian production company Lux Vide. In 1999 he started working as a producer for international co-productions at KirchGruppe. In 2001 he left KirchGruppe together with Jan Mojto in order to set up EOS Entertainment. Since the merge of EOS Entertainment and Beta Film, Ferdinand Dohna has been responsible for international productions and co-productions.
