BBC Studios has signed an agreement with Xiaomi TV+ making five BBC FAST channels available in various European markets starting this month: Germany, France, Spain, and Italy.
Specifically, BBC Drama and Top Gear FAST are available on Xiaomi TV+ in all four markets, while BBC Travel, BBC Food, and BBC History are available on Xiaomi TV+ in Germany only.

The following channels will therefore be accessible via the Xiaomi TV+ app, pre-installed on Xiaomi TVs, TV boxes, and TV sticks, with the additional option of downloading it to Google TV and Android TV devices via the Google Play Store.
The agreement will allow millions of users to access BBC Studios’ flagship titles via Xiaomi’s FAST streaming service.

According to Kasia Jablonska, Head of Digital and On-Demand at BBC Studios in EMEA,
the initiative will give millions of viewers access to compelling content, confirming the strength of the company’s historic brands and the richness of its catalog, defining the collaboration with Xiaomi as a source of great pride.
Jablonska also presented BBC Studios’ FAST strategy for EMEA during World Screen’s FAST Festival.

Zhifu Yan, head of global internet business development at Xiaomi, emphasized the importance of the partnership with BBC Studios, one of the world’s leading content producers. Yan, like Jablonska, noted that the narrative strength, production quality, and global recognition of BBC Studios’ brands enrich the platform’s premium offering, while supporting Xiaomi’s high-end positioning strategy and providing users with a simple and engaging viewing experience.
