Among the new features of this edition, for two days MIA becomes a platform for dialogue and in-depth discussion devoted to European and international financial instruments supporting the audiovisual industry through the European Investment Hub (EIH). The project was created to facilitate access to structured financial solutions, which are increasingly central to the development, consolidation and competitiveness of creative enterprises. MIA aims to offer European and international professionals a clear, practical overview of the instruments available and how to access them. The EIH programme focuses on analysing and examining a broad range of financial instruments, including: co-production funds (regional, European and international, as well as EU cooperation funds); equity funds dedicated to the audiovisual sector and the cultural and creative industries; guarantee funds and risk-mitigation mechanisms, including those developed in synergy with European and national institutions; completion bonds and insurance instruments supporting the completion of works; public-private co-investment models and regional instruments supporting production; and involves brands as new financial partners. Activities include themed round tables and informal networking sessions designed to encourage direct dialogue among professionals, investors and institutions through a practical approach to understanding financial mechanisms and intervention strategies.
