I Gotham Awards sono premi cinematografici americani, assegnati ogni anno ai produttori di film indipendenti durante una cerimonia a New York.

 
La celebrazione ha segnato l’inizio ufficiale della stagione dei premi, con la prima apparizione sul palcoscenico di molti degli artisti e dei registi che si prevede saranno in lizza per i premi più importanti durante l’autunno e l’inverno.

 
L’evento, ospitato al Cipriani Wall Street di New York, ha incluso omaggi a veterani di Hollywood come Adam Sandler e Michelle Williams, oltre a riconoscimenti speciali assegnati alla regista di “The Woman King” Gina Prince-Bythewood, a Focus Features e al cast di “Fire Island” di Hulu.
