L’Accademia Europea ha annunciato i film nominati per gli European Film Awards 2022.

 
Tre film in cima alla lista, tutti con quattro nomination in totale: Holy Spider di Ali Abbasi, Triangle of Sadness di Ruben Östlund e Close di Lukas Dhont sono candidati come miglior film, regia, sceneggiatura. Inoltre, Zar Amir Ebrahimi figura come miglior attrice per Holy Spider, mentre Zlatko Burić e Eden Dambrine hanno ottenuto la nomination come miglior attore rispettivamente per Triangle of Sadness e Close.

 
Tre nomination per Corsage, il racconto moderno di Marie Kreutzer sulla vita di Elisabetta d’Austria che, oltre al premio per il miglior film, è in lizza per la miglior regia ed è il favorito principale per la miglior attrice (Vicky Krieps). In quest’ultima categoria sono nominati anche Penélope Cruz per Madre Parallelas, Léa Seydoux per One Fine Morning e il vincitore della Berlinale 2022 Meltem Kaptan per Rabiye Kurnaz vs. George W. Bush.

 
La lista dei candidati al premio come miglior attore è molto competitiva. Oltre a Burić e Dambrine, abbiamo Paul Mescal per Aftersun, Elliot Crochet Hove per Godland e l’italiano Pierfrancesco Favino per Nostalgia.

 
La cerimonia di premiazione si terrà sabato 10 dicembre nello scenario dell’Harpa Conference and Concert Hall di Reykjavik.
