Yesterday, July 2, began the 13th edition of Ciné, the event dedicated to cinema promoted by ANICA, in collaboration with ANEC, with the participation of ACEC, supported by MiC, the Emilia-Romagna Region, the Emilia-Romagna Film Commission and the Municipality of Riccione, and produced by Cineventi.
The setting for the event, which will conclude on July 5, will be the Palazzo dei Congressi in Riccione, where conventions, events, screenings and guests will take turns. Among the first day’s events was one with The Walt Disney Company, during which, among other things, the accredited audience was shown a few minutes preview of the film Alien Romulus directed by Fede Alvarez and produced by Ridley Scott.
Later in the day, however, there will be the Hot Corn Awards, the awards of the film and series magazine hotcorn.com, which will feature Vinicio Marchioni, veteran of such successful films as Paola Cortellesi’s C’è ancora domani and Paolo Virzì’s Un altro Ferragosto, who will be honored with the Hot Corn Award Rock.
And more meetings on the subject, such as the one proposed by ACEC – Associazione Cattolica Esercenti Cinema entitled Between hype e critics: The Expectations that Drive the Box Office and presented by ACEC National President Gianluca Bernardini, which will feature speeches by Piera Detassis (Editor at Large Cinema & Entertainment Hearst Italia, President and Artistic Director of the Accademia del Cinema Italiano – Premi David di Donatello), Eva Carducci (Content Creator and Journalist), Dario Edoardo Viganò (Full Professor of Cinema, President Research Center Catholicism and Audiovisual Studies – UniNettuno International Telematic University, Vice-Chancellor of the Pontifical Academy of Sciences-Social Sciences of the Holy See).
ANEC will also present the meeting entitled Rivistedispettacolo.it: from Hollywood on the Tiber to the dawn of digital cinema with Simone Gialdini (ANEC Director General, Cinetel President) and Davide Novelli (Cinetel CEO).
