Sustainability for the Industry Awarness. In 2022 edition, MIA created new programs and schemes to disseminate awareness also with respect to the industrial production practices of television and film works, with a particular interest in reducing the environmental impact, accelerating the education of the industry with respect to the topic of zero-impact, in association with key green-protocols adopted in Europe. In collaboration with its long-standing sustainability partner, Green Film, MIA offered for the first time in 2022 a unique opportunity for projects selected among MIA Co-Production Market & Pitching Forum (for Doc, Drama, and Film divisions) to reserve one-on-one meetings with one expert from Green Film, environmental sustainability certification label released to audiovisual productions shot adopting solutions that reduce their environmental impact.

Sustainability for the Earth. In order to give more strength to our sustainability initiatives MIA devoted the 5% of the net revenues of the badges sold for the 2022 edition to the adoption of 4 nectariferous forests made of a total of 200 trees that will be planted in 2023. In collaboration with 3Bee, an Italian sustainability company (ltd) and agri-tech startup and develop intelligent monitoring and diagnostic systems for bee health. All of 3Bee’s nectariferous forests are planted in Italy, with an even distribution over all regions with plant varieties selected for integration into the area’s environment and climate.
