The alliance between Disney and Fox, that seemed define, is questioned because of a possible counteroffer from Comcast.
This company has already proposed an agree that however, despite exceeding the value of 15% offered by Disney, it had been turned down by 21st Century Fox because of possible Antitrust risks. An other aspect in favor of Disney was the wide range of content of the Mickey Mouse Group. Comcast and Disney push the acquisition because they are both certain that the Fox assets would be able to reinforce their position and content offer. This acquisitions would represent also a strong response to Netflix, the main competitor.
